Carpenters Local 205 was formed in February 2016 through a merger of the previous locals 388 Richmond, VA and 613 Norfolk, VA. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America has built a strong foundation in the state of Virginia since being established in 1881. The UBC has had a presence in Virginia since 1899. In March 2018, the main office was moved to Ashland, VA  the current home of our training center.
